So as it turns out, I've had this blog registered for quite some time, and have never written in it extensively. Sure, there have been some small portions of thought written here, but nothing with a mission or purpose. However, isn't that the definition of a blog? Isn't a blog an area where people should be able to publicly express their feelings, a la journal or diary style? If this is the case, then why do some pass and some fail? Are some people's thought more widely accepted than others, or do some just garner more exposure with one or two decent posts? Whatever the case may be, this is just something to help pass the time, and to potentially document some happenings in my life.
Getting on with the root of the issue, what is to be expected of this blog? You will see movie reviews, game reviews, some documented ideas, and maybe a bit of social experimenting. I know, I know, there are about a quarter billion blogs out there dealing with these issues, and I know for a fact that my ideas will not be any better than the next person's, but maybe you will share some ideas with me on a more grander scale away from the platform of Facebook or Twitter.
Let's get this party started then, shall we? I don't promise to update consistently, but you will know when and where I update. As it is getting late tonight, let me just mention how proud I am about the Milwaukee Brewers being in first place this late in the season since 2009. I promise not to give you a lot of sports talk on this blog (unless related to video games or visual media) but seeing as this was a good weekend series, just figured I would just express my feelings for how awesome that was.
Also, something about the NBA and someone who is a tool lost, I don't really follow basketball all that much, but congrats to the Dallas Mavericks as well.
Tomorrow, we'll get some more direction, and maybe I'll unveil the first real idea for the blog.
